聲嘶力竭地控訴著社會、任由情感即興發洩。可是我們最後也選擇了固步自封，以最舒適的曲風和最自然的演奏方式，創作出最能代表The Flashback的首張專輯《Comfort Zone》。
The Flashback以最原始的姿態，化身成莫比烏斯帶上的螞蟻，在無盡的不安中前進。這不是一張叫人「離開Comfort Zone、勇敢探索」的搖滾專輯，而是一班新蒲崗夜遊人的 (醉後) 喃喃自語，嘗試用音樂寫實地呈現「我們」的現在；在自我封閉的舒適圈內，尋覓一絲精彩的可能。

《Comfort Zone》可以是存在意義的探究，也可以是沉默的控訴，或是如釋重負的解脫。
